Privacy policy

Your privacy matters

Your privacy is important to me. This statement explains how I collect, use, and protect your information — and what rights you have under Australian privacy law.

Why I care

As a certified coach, researcher, and advocate for neurodivergent people, I believe privacy is a cornerstone of ethical and trauma-informed practice. Trust, transparency, and respect are at the heart of my work. You share personal experiences with me — and I treat that trust with care and integrity.

Plain language summary

  • I only collect information I need to deliver coaching and support.

  • I protect your data using secure systems.

  • You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information anytime.

  • I never sell or share your data without your consent.

  • If there's ever a privacy issue, I’ll act quickly and keep you informed.

1. Scope

This statement applies to all personal information I collect through:

  • This website

  • Email, phone, or online contact forms

  • Coaching sessions or related communications

By providing your information, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Legal framework

My practice follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Clarification: Professional coaching itself is not considered a health or medical service under Australian law. However, because I work with neurodivergent clients — including those with ADHD — coaching sessions may involve discussion of wellbeing and ADHD-related challenges. While I don’t diagnose or treat ADHD or other medical conditions, I do handle information that can include health or wellbeing-related details. For that reason, I follow the standards of the APPs and health privacy guidance to ensure your information is handled with care and respect.

You can learn more about these principles on the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) website at www.oaic.gov.au.

3. What personal information I collect

Sensitive and health information

I may also collect sensitive information, with your explicit consent, such as:

  • Mental health and wellbeing information related to coaching topics

  • Work-related challenges, stressors, or burnout

I will always tell you why I need this information and how I will use it.

4. How I collect your information

I collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • Fill out a contact form or subscribe to updates

  • Email, call, or message me

  • Engage in coaching sessions

  • Unauthorised access

  • Loss, misuse, or interference

  • Disclosure or modification

Access is limited to me and essential service providers (for example, payment platforms).

9. Overseas disclosures

Some tools I use (such as cloud storage or scheduling software) may store data overseas. If that occurs, I take reasonable steps to ensure those providers meet comparable privacy standards or I obtain your informed consent. I’ll always tell you if your information will be stored outside Australia.

10. Data breaches
